- Website Requirement Review (WRR)
A WRR is the first step in the implementation of any new development. A Designate Solutions Internet Strategist will evaluate and identify your current and future business on-line objectives. Through an in-depth analysis of existing business processes our Internet Strategist will determine the feasibility of various solutions in line with your projected objective and goals.
We discuss with you who your target market is, what your primary product or service is and any subsidiary services you wish to promote through the website solution, how you will use the website to sell your product or service, whether you wish to simply place information on the website or opt for e-commerce facilities, and what domain name and hosting arrangements you will need.
- Content Collation & Website Design Concept (WDC)
Following this initial consultation, we ask for a 50% investment up-front to initiate your website development. At this point we collect any promotional material you have eg: business cards, brochures, digital images, photographs, etc. and within two weeks, create a website design concept as per your instruction and requirements. Your WDC is then published on-line at a temporary location for you to peruse and asses, while we discuss any changes you wish to make before finalisation. Throughout this process, you can collate and/or write content for the website (don't worry, we're more than happy to help with this if you're unsure of the how, where and when.) Once the content is complete, it can be e-mailed to us as well as any extra images you would like to feature on your website.
- Website Design & Creation
Over the next week or two (depending on the size of the website) we will create the website based on the WDC, providing you with continuous progress via the temporary on-line location. On conclusion of the website development process, we'll ask that review the entire site and tell us of any final changes you wish to make. Once the outstanding balance has been finalised we will publish your website to its final location on our super fast, super reliable servers.
- Website Hosting, Maintenance, Marketing & Promotion
This course of action proves to be one of the most important processes in determining the success of any website solution. It is very important that your website solution is hosted in a stable and secure environment. Our hosting partner guarantees 100% uptime with state of the art fire walled servers. Next we discuss how to promote your new website both offline and online, our strategist will explain the effective ways to generate and handle online requests, how to go about modifying the website later down the track, and suggest a marketing package to suit your needs.
